Soupbone's two painted Hokie Birds
The Blacksburg Partnership is pleased to present Gobble de Art, a campaign to increase interest in and awareness of Blacksburg. The initiative is also designed to bring visitors into town while fostering an appreciation for the visual arts and the local art community. Gobble de Art will feature seventy-five fiberglass Hokie Bird statues that will be decorated and painted by regional artists and Virginia Tech art alumni. The birds will be sponsored by local and regional businesses and prominently displayed throughout the town of Blacksburg.
