Phill Stevens Freelance Designer and Marketing Consultant
Phill combines 11 years of experience working in product development, marketing, design and music production with 4 years of advertising agency ownership to bring clients innovative design and marketing strategies that work.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, he began his design career working with licensees such as Crayola, Nascar and Pokemon. He worked his way from a Graphic Artist and Product Designer to become Merchandising Manager in charge of over 500 products and 20 brands developed and marketed to retail giants Walmart, Target, Office Max, and Michaels. A few years later as Product Manager, he was responsible for developing licensed and in-house brands while working with domestic and import vendors from China, South America, Israel and Canada.
In 2003 he established Soupbone Creative. As owner and creative director, he works with a variety of clients to market their products and services, either alone or by developing a team based on the project requirements. Assignments can be on a per-project basis or a time-specific retainer.
