Radford University

RU has 15 residence halls arranged in a quad formation (four to five buildings with a lawn in the center), with the exception of Muse Hall. All are within walking distance of academic buildings, campus activities and downtown merchants. More than 3,200 students live on campus in a variety of living options designed to suit everyone’s needs and academic interests. Most residence halls offer themed housing, such as Jefferson Hall, which houses all freshmen as part of RU Connections, a learning community program. Norwood houses upperclass students only and Madison has an emphasis on wellness.

Fact: The RU Connections model of integrated living/learning communities exists in the four residence halls for new students. These buildings feature a high level of community, increased faculty/student interaction and the opportunity to share in the decisions of hall programming.
